Weekly Recap and News - 10/26/2008

Game 1 Recap:

The Inferno played their first game this past Saturday. They unfortunately lost 4 - 0 but do not let the score reflect the effort that was put out. In the first half the Inferno only gave up 1 goal on a fluke break away. Outside of that one goal the Inferno controlled the tempo of the first half and had several shots at the goal but could not get any to fall. In the second half the opposing team made a slight defensive adjustment which made it harder for the Inferno to set up their offense. Ultimately the deeper bench of the opposing team would wear the Inferno down and the result was 3 more goals. The Inferno did not get outplayed by a better team but were outran by a team with a deeper bench. With only two weeks of practice the Inferno played great as a team and showed a lot of heart. As the season unfolds and the bench becomes deeper expect great things from this team.

Sunday, 10/26 - 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Wednesday, 10/29 - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Thursday, 10/30 - 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Game 2 information:

The Inferno are home again this week and will be playing the East Pasco #2 team.

Saturday, 11/01 - 10:00 AM at the Wesley Chapel park

Please be there at 9:15 so we can warm up. The game will be played at the fields behind the concession stand/soccer office.

If you cannot make a practice or game please let one of the coaches know.
